Our Shark Cartilage supplements for dogs and for cats come in a capsule and contain 100% pure shark cartilage from New Zealand (freeze/vacuum dried without the use of chemicals). Shark cartilage is composed primarily of protein, calcium, phosphorus, collagen, and two important glycosaminoglycans called Chondroitin -4- Sulfate and Chondroitin -6- Sulfate.

Our Shark Cartilage is a by-product of the fishing industry in New Zealand. We do not purchase cartilage from suppliers that would cull shark just for their cartilage.

WARNINGS:

• This product should not be given to puppies, kittens, pregnant or lactating animals, or animals recently recovering from surgery. For surgeries that involve cutting into vascular tissue or a body cavity (chest or abdomen) it's best to wait 2-4 weeks before using this product.
  
• Use this product with caution in animals with a history of clotting disorders, diabetes, metabolic disorders associated with hyperglycemia, urinary tract stones and allergies to shellfish.

Directions for Use

Initial 3-4 weeks: Give 1 capsule per 10 lbs. of body weight daily.

Maintenance: Give 1 capsule per 20 lbs. of body weight daily. If less than 20 lbs. gie 1 capsule every other day.
