DMG has played a key role...
I have a four-year-old son, diagnosed with moderate Autism. We have tried numerous options over the past two years in treating his autism with various nutritional supplements, diets, therapies, etc. I had come across information regarding DMG and decided togive it a try. Not knowing the proper dosage amount for a child with Autism, I started giving him 125 mg daily, in which I did see some direct eye contact establish, but nothing significant. I was told by a medical professional to try TMG, and that I should see much better results. In doing so my son became very hyperactive and fleeting. I stopped TMG due to the adverse effect.
I then decided to put him back on DMG, but at a much higher dosage after coming across your recommended dosage for individuals with Autism. He is currently taking 900 mg a day in divided doses, and has made remarkable progress over the past three months since reintroducing DMG into his daily routine. My son has been nonverbal since nineteen months of age when he lost the fifteen words he had in his vocabulary, as well as all of the developmental milestones he had accomplished after receiving his last series of childhood vaccinations.
Thanks to DMG, he is now, once again experiencing expressive language, direct eye contact, and improved fine and gross motor skills. I have an autistic child who had quite a lot of trouble learning to speak and use language. Another parent of an autistic child told me about DMG. I didn't know what it was and was afraid to give it to my child, so I researched it (the Autism Society of America has information and studies on DMG). Satisfied that it was safe, I started giving it to my child. In two weeks' time there was noticeable improvement in my child's expressive language, and that was on just one tablet of DMG per day. After six weeks of DMG and steady improvement in language skills, my child's skills seemed to plateau. I stopped the DMG but the language skills remained!! Several months later I started the DMG again. I wanted to see if the DMG really did help, or if the increase in skills was coincidental. In the second six weeks of DMG, language skills once again increased and then plateaued. I am convinced that the DMG had something to do with it. It is important to keep everything else the same (don't start a new therapy or diet, etc.) when you try the DMG. That way you will know what caused any changes you might see in your child. I am an advocate for DMG because it has helped a lot of people in a lot of different ways; it is quite inexpensive in contrast to many other therapies; it is fast and easy to administer (can very easily be hidden in food or drinks without tasting it); it is completely safe for people on GFCF, Feingold, allergy, or other restrictive diets; and it flushes out of the body quickly and completely leaving no permanent negative side effects. I encourage all parents of autistic or PDD children, even "adult children," to just try it -- it may be the best $20.95 ($17.10 on product, $3.85 on shipping) you spend this year!

During January 2002, I start give two tablets per day along with Folic acid 2.5 mg to my son (date of birth 06-05-1998) who has autism, there was improvements speech and increase in immunity to cold and general illness. I continued the DMG to till date and now my son attending regular school.

I wanted to write to you and tell you how pleased I am with the DMG I ordered in Aug. My 3 years old son is Autistic, he hadn’t talked since he was approx. 1 yr. old. He is now saying mom and mo (once in a while!) This might not seem like big news to you but believe me it’s music to my ears! When he was diagnosed on Aug 1. 1994 they told me if he didn’t start talking by the age of 3 he never would.I have heard from the Autism Research Institute in California that if you also add B6 and magnesium you will also (hopefully) see improvements. The product DMG has helped to keep my energy levels consistent during the day and helps me stay focused on small details. In the past my energy level would go up and down throughout the day. I know I am able to accomplish more and have higher productivity when I take DMG. I definitely notice a difference when I stop taking it.
