William Warnock, N.D.

Bill Warnock graduated from Bastyr College of Naturopathic Medicinein 1984. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany from the University of Washington. He moved to Vermont in 1985 and has been practicing in Shelburne since 1989. Dr. Warnock treats people of all ages and has special expertise in treating childhood illnesses and chronic debilitating diseases such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, arthritis, Wilson’s Syndrome and chronic fatigue. He uses homeopathic, anthroposophical, acupuncture, botanic, nutritional and bee venom therapies.

Dr. Warnock’s philosophy is to use the combined natural forces foundin the body, in medicinal plants, natural supplements, and in healthy foods that heal the body. He strongly believes whenever possible to address the underlying cause of a problem rather than just suppress the symptoms. Fundamental to his practice is to treat the wholeperson, including the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual components.

Dr. Warnock is a founding member and past president of the Vermont Naturopathic Association and was instrumental in putting a bill through the Vermont Legislature that provided for state licensing for naturopaths. He is also a member of the Naturopathic Advisory Boardto the Vermont Secretary of State and has recently been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Vermont Blueprint for Health. He enjoys teaching classes in mind and body healing and encouraging people to live a healthy lifestyle.
